Each member, a company director, voluntarily adheres to the NRSC’s objectives and commitments as set forth in the founding document.
The member’s role and responsibilities are established in the policies and procedures. Within her or his own company, s/he applies the NRSC’s Charter of Commitments developed in collaboration with representatives of indigenous communities and local producers.
Each member strives to create conditions that will foster positive, measurable, and long-lasting impact on natural-ingredient supply chains. He or she takes into account and respects the culture and traditions of the local communities, and the principles of Access and Benefit Sharing.
